STACY MYERS
Who Am I?
Hello! I am Stacy Myers (she/her). I am currently serving as a counseling intern as part of my journey toward becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I bring a passion for helping others navigate life’s challenges, big or small, with empathy, compassion, and a commitment to meeting each person exactly where they are. Before entering the counseling field, I served as a state trooper, which gave me a deep appreciation for the resilience of the human spirit and inspired my desire to support others in a more personal and healing way.
As I continue to grow professionally, I’m especially interested in helping people build confidence, learn healthy coping skills, and manage issues like anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I’m honored to walk alongside clients on their journey to healing and self-discovery.
I love working with:
-
Children and adolescents as they explore their emotions, build self-esteem, and gain tools to thrive through life’s ups and downs.
-
Teenagers and young adults as they build a deeper understanding of themselves and the person they want to become.
-
Individuals navigating life transitions, as well as those managing stress, anxiety and depression.
-
(In the near future) First responders, trauma survivors, and individuals facing crisis or PTSD.

Some of My Favorite Approaches Include:I believe in tailoring my approach to meet each client’s unique needs, strengths, and personality. I enjoy integrating a variety of therapeutic methods such as: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to explore the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors; Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support emotional regulation and mindfulness; and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to identify strengths and create actionable goals. With younger clients, I often incorporate play therapy techniques, using creativity and play as powerful tools for expression and healing.
