Outside of working with children and caregivers, you will find me helping people obtain optimal health as I coach them, one on one, the habits of health.  You will also find me at my church co-leading our women’s ministry program and singing in our worship band.  In addition, I have a 16 year old daughter who keeps us on our toes. Our youth group within our church allows me the opportunity to work with teenagers on a regular basis as I am no longer the youth leader at our small church.   We are avid animal lovers as evident in our 5 cats, 2 dogs and 3 chickens that run around our property. 

 

I Love Working With:
-Children ages 5-18 who are grappling with many concerns at school, home and in the community.  These concerns may be, but are not limited to: emotional regulation, conflict management, bullying, self-esteem, grief, anger management, some trauma issues, goal setting, career exploration, just to name a few.

-Parents in order to create a healthier family unit.

-Schools to collaborate and advocate for what is best for each child I work within the educational setting.

Play Therapy for younger children, sandtray utilization, CBT, motivational interviewing, solution-focused, all the while fully collaborating with parents to discuss parental style and what would benefit the family.
