Lauren Roseman earned a bachelor’s degree in English Education and a master’s degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Lauren is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has worked in the mental health field since 2004.

Throughout her career, Lauren has served in several positions in the mental health field, including foster care case manager, community mental health counselor, and outpatient therapist. She has provided outreach to elementary and middle schools and has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults.

Lauren is trained in many therapies including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, play therapy, solution-focused therapy, DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), and group therapy. Her areas of clinical interest include helping people overcome depression, substance abuse, ADHD, behavioral challenges, anxiety, and anger issues.

Lauren focuses on her client’s strengths and works with them to develop positive and achievable goals, and effective coping skills in order to improve their quality of life.
