Who Am I?
I am Jenilyn Haselden (she/her), a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern. I work with individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life transitions, relationship challenges, communication difficulties, and personal growth. I believe that our relationships and environments significantly impact how we understand ourselves, and I enjoy helping clients explore these patterns with compassion and curiosity. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change.

Some of my favorite approaches include:
My approach begins with meeting clients where they are and creating a space where they feel safe to be authentic. I use a client-centered and strength-based perspective while viewing individuals within the context of their relationships and larger family systems. I am particularly drawn to Bowen Family Systems Theory, which helps clients develop greater awareness of emotional patterns, strengthen their sense of self, and build healthier relationships. I also incorporate elements of Internal Family Systems and other approaches when appropriate to help clients better understand their emotions and internal experiences. Above all, I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and I strive to walk alongside each client as they work toward greater self-awareness, connection, and growth.
