LeAnn Hupalo is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner, who also holds board certification as a Master Addictions Counselor and National Certified Counselor. LeAnn attended George Mason University where she received a Bachelor’s degree in psychology as well as a master’s degree in counseling & development. She also holds a post-master’s certificate in professional counseling through Virginia Commonwealth University, and has specialized training in the provision of advanced trauma treatment and trauma-informed care.

 

LeAnn has over 10 years of experience, and specialized knowledge in providing co-occurring counseling services to clients of all ages.

LeAnn is passionate about her work, and has a special interest in working with adolescents and young adults. She values the importance of the therapeutic relationship, and approaches the therapy process collaboratively, and from a strength-based approach. LeAnn draws from attachment theory and a wide variety of therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Family Systems, Solution Focused, mind-body, sand tray, and expressive art techniques to assist clients in meeting their goals. LeAnn recognizes that recovery is a process that takes time, and enjoys helping clients to reach their full potential.
