With over 20 years of experience in the field of mental health, Dr. Edward Bieda has worked with children, adolescents, and adults. His specialties are in clinical, forensic, and correctional psychology.

Dr. Bieda obtained his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 1996, followed by a Master’s degree of Science in Counseling Psychology in 1999 from Chaminade University of Honolulu, and a Doctor of Psychology degree in Clinical Psychology in 2004 from Argosy University of Honolulu.

Prior to working with Old Towne Counseling Services, Dr. Bieda provided psychological services to clients at Williamsville Wellness, Hawaii Mental Health Court, Hawaii Drug Court, Hawaii Veterans Court, Hawaii Counseling and Education Center, Manakai O Malama Integrative Health Clinic, Hawaii Youth Correctional Facility, the California Substance Abuse Treatment Facility and State Prison Corcoran, as well as private clients throughout the United States.

Dr. Bieda has also provided clinical and forensic psychological services to the State of Hawaii Central Oahu Community Mental Health Center. He also created and held the first Court Based Clinician position in the State of Hawaii’s Adult Mental Health Division.

Dr. Ed Bieda practices and specializes in the Three Principles – principles that focus on the mind, consciousness, and thought.

Dr. Bieda helps people reconnect to their innate health so that they can return to living life in a beautiful feeling. He believes that as humans, we can reconnect to our innate health at any moment. When we are in touch with our innate health, we live in a beautiful feeling. That beautiful feeling can inform and guide us to making healthy choices that affect our lives, our loved ones, and the world in which we live in. We all live life from the inside-out, and innate health is within us all.

Dr. Bieda enjoys helping individuals who are diagnosed with a severe and persistent mental health disorder and/or a substance abuse disorder. Dr. Bieda also has a wealth of experience working with diverse populations, people with personality disorders, and those who face a variety of addiction issues.
