As a Resident in Counseling, Brett takes a humanistic and trauma-informed approach to care. Brett is a LGBTQIA+ affirming counselor who is passionate about helping others navigate the complexities and chaos of life. I strive to provide a safe, collaborative, and non-judgemental space for reflection, growth and healing.
Brett obtained his Master's degree from William & Mary and while there interned with Bacon Street Youth and Family Services in Williamsburg. At Bacon Street, Brett provided counseling services for adolescents and adults. He was also a facilitator for the Strengthening Families Program, a 7-week evidenced-based curriculum for youth (ages 10 - 14) and their families.
Brett comes to the counseling field following 15 years in the music industry. While studying communications at New York University, I interned at a record label, where I eventually began my career. The jobs took me to Los Angeles, where I lived and worked for the next 12 years. I loved supporting artists; helping guide their careers and share their artistic endeavors with the world
